EXPEDITED. FROM THE RAINFOREST TO YOU.
It takes about a month from the moment we wild harvest our Holy Berry Camu Camu to its arrival in Long Beach, California, from where it is quickly transported to our freezers in San Diego, where the fruit is kept frozen, ready to be shipped to you.
PROCESSED WITH PATENTED TECHNOLOGY.
Holy Berry Camu Camu takes 24 to 48 hours to arrive at our processing centers, where they are submitted to another round of hand-picked selection and then disinfected and debugged.
Once cleaned, it is ready for juicing through our patented method. The “Chapoteadora,” as locals call it, is a special extracting machine which delicately grinds berries applying the right pressure to avoid crushing the seeds, and making sure we conserve all the nutrients and antioxidants from Camu Camu peel cells. After it is juiced, Holy Berry Camu Camu is immediately flash-freezed and shipped to California.
WILD HARVESTED
We let local communities harvest the fruit in the same way they’ve been doing it for hundreds of years. Locals do not grow Camu Camu, they are recollectors, foragers who take care of wild crops through biological control practices, like soil management, exterminating other plants around the crops so soil nutrients go exclusively to Camu Camu plants. They also exterminate contaminated plants by hand, using no chemicals, just their hands.
HAND-PICKED. FULLY RIPED. INTACT NUTRIENTS.
Our recollectors hand-pick the best berries only. They only harvest Camu Camu when the fruit is fully ripe. When Camu Camu is not ready, its properties are not in full potential. And Camu Camu does not get ripe after having been harvested prematurely. Unfortunately, most companies that sell Camu Camu powder get it from unripe crops, it is safer for their business :(
